The Brazilian Funding Agency CAPES has launched its Call for Applications Nº. 12/2025 for the Graduate Student-Agreement Program. The PEC-PG is managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE), the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), and the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) (coordinating bodies). It serves as an international cooperation initiative, attracting foreigners to Brazil and encouraging the exchange of knowledge between partner countries.

PPGEQ/UFSCar is offering 4 Master's and 4 PhD positions for this call.

Accepted Languages: Portuguese and English

Here are the benefits:

• Scholarship: a monthly stipend of R$ 2,100 (Master's) or R$ 3,100 (PhD)
• Health Insurance: R$ 400/month in support
• Travel Ticket: return ticket provided by the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
