Awarding of Scholarships
The Graduate Program in Chemical Engineering (PPGEQ) at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) may offer scholarships funded by CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel), CNPq (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development), or other funding agencies, at the master’s or doctoral level. Master’s scholarships are granted for a duration of 24 months, while doctoral scholarships last 48 months.
Scholarships will be awarded based on availability, respecting the ranking of candidates in the selection process and the criteria previously established in the supplementary regulations of the PPGEQ.
Students ranked second (or lower) under the same advisor will be granted scholarships according to the Program's availability, prioritizing the second-ranked students for all advisors based on their scores in the selection process, followed by the third-ranked, and so on.
Regular students enrolled in the Program may apply for scholarships, provided they achieve academic performance in line with the requirements defined in the regulations.
